QingDao:Livable City

Qingdao is considered by some Chinese as one of the nicest and cleanest cities in China. With a population of about 3.5 million (8 million regional) is one of the largest cities in Shandong Province. The name means Qingdao The Blue / Green Island. In 2008, Qingdao in China was called the 7 th most livable cities.


The famous pier, Zhan Qiao is the symbol of Qingdao. It 'been done by the Germans and is a popular tourist destination. The pavilion famous Tsingtao beer logo was built in 1931 and now houses a small aquarium just been renovated. The pier is now aligned with people selling all sorts of things, as well as beggars and gambling opportunities for the very small-time.



St. Michael's Cathedral is the Catholic Church in China, Qingdao, Shandong Province, Qingdao of the Roman Catholic Bishop of the seat. The church is built in the Romanesque style of German history. E 'in a cruciform plan, with a nave flanked by a single aisle on both sides, crossed by a transept with a semicircular apse at the east end protruding.



The Qingdao Protestant Church, built in 1910, is one of the quietest and most interesting Qingdao. Although recently renovated, this church still retains much of its original style and charm. Situated on a small hill opposite the park Xinhaoshan, 39.10 meter high bell tower and 18 meters high main hall, are easily lost on the winding roads that lead here.



Laoshan is a mountain famous in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. It is located about 30 km east of the city of Qingdao, and is a major tourist destination. And 'the highest mountain in coastal China, with a peak at 1132.7m. And 'known as one of the birthplaces of Taoism.
