Taichung: Rich Indigenous Culture's City

The Heart of TaiwanLocated in the heart of Taiwan, Taichung has long attracted top chefs who specialize in providing north and south of Taiwan cuisines and pastries that developed over the past century. This museum houses a bilingual (English/Chinese) permanent exhibition on Taiwan's indigenous peoples, including introductions to the tribes, as well as their distributions, traditional lifestyles, arts, clothing and ornaments, hunting weapons and ceremonies. The Botanical Garden sits behind the museum and houses approximately 800 botanical species.
