Lhasa-God's land

Lhasa is Tibet's core, which means "God's land".

Location: Asia. China

Lhasa is the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region in China. It is located in the northern slope of the Himalayas, altitude 3650 meters (12000 feet).More than 1,300 years of history, it is situated in a valley beside the Lhasa River.
 Potala Palace (Podrang Potala)-Palace is 14 stories tall, any visit involves a lot of stairs to climb up / down. Make sure you fully domesticated access.Potala Palace in 1994, the Jokhang Temple in 2000 and Norbulingka Summer Palace in 2001, a UNESCO World Heritage List.

Jokhang Temple (Tsuglagkhang) -Temple, a splendid building facing west under the roof of a four-led, in Barkhor Square, the center of old Lhasa.



Norbulingka Summer Palace -About 1 km south at the Potala Palace - the seventh Dalai Lama in 1755 built the first Summer Palace, each successive ruler added his own building. Now,  Norbulingka is in full recovery.


 Barkhor Street market around the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa as the center of the old section of the circular street, which is a very traditional style of the oldest street in Tibet
